CHURCH POLICY AND INFORMATION

Bulletin and Church Notes - All announcements are to be submitted to the Office Manager by 12:00 noon each Wednesday.  The Office Manager reserves the right to edit or omit, with the Pastor’s approval.

Church Directory - Any changes of address, place of business, family status, college address as well as telephone numbers should be reported to the church office (704-366-3554) in order for the Church Staff to maintain up-to-date records.  The directory is for the use of members only.

Christian Education - All curriculum for children, youth and adults, including mid-week studies, is the responsibility of the Session through the Christian Education Committee and must be approved prior to scheduling and announcements.

Flower Chart - An honor/memorial flower sign-up chart may be found on the permanent bulletin board to the left of the Cloister.  You may choose an open Sunday to honor or remember a loved one and must confirm the date with the Church Office.  Please write out the specifics and include them with a check in the amount of $75 made payable to Trinity Presbyterian Church and give to the Office Manager.

Group Meetings - The Office Manager keeps the Master Calendar.  The Master Calendar is posted on the bulletin board in the stairwell of the Administrative Building.  Church-related organizations must apply through the Office Manager for facility use.  Keys must be secured and returned through the Buildings and Grounds Superintendent.

Mailings - Communication must be in writing and available to the Office Manager at least one week prior to mailing date.

Office Holidays - Trinity’s holidays include New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Easter Monday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and the day after Christmas.

Office Hours - The Church Office hours are Monday - Thursday 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.,
Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.  The Weekday School hours are 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. 

Office and Workroom - Workroom equipment may be used only under the supervision of the Office Manager.

PostScripts - The monthly newsletter is published the middle of the month containing information for the following month.  All announcements of general church programs and interest should be placed in the PostScripts box located in the church workroom by the first of each month.  You can also submit articles via email to bpurnell@trinitypreschurch.org or cjernigan@trinitypreschurch.org.

Worship - The Sanctuary is a space set apart for the worship of God.  All persons who enter it should do so with an attitude of thoughtful reverence.  All services shall be conducted according to the provisions in the Directory for Worship of the Book of Order, including weddings and funerals.
